You can, of course, generate an idea one genre at a time, but our tool unleashes its full power when you combine genres, even from different categories.
Do you want a love story within a steampunk universe in a utopia? It’s entirely possible by selecting the corresponding genres with our tool.
You can combine anything with everything.
We advise you not to immediately go for a 10-genre generation (the limit for a single generation), but to take it slow and explore Literary Idea.
We like to stick to around 3 genres… so 2, 3, or 4 seems pretty good and potentially very fun.
If you don’t know what to choose from our huge list, you can use the random genres mode and select the number you want.
